About Mike Chaet
Dr. Mike Chaet is a published book author and has been a management consultant to the health club industry since 1965. He is the founder and president of Club Marketing & Management Services (CMS), Inc., of Helena, Montana, a worldwide health club consultancy. He is also a contributing author to many national magazines including CBI, Club Industry, Bodylife and FitCommerce.com.
In 2004, he helped to found the Independent Club Owners Association (ICOA).
Dr. Chaet is a past winner of the 1983-84 National Industry Service award, and Bodylife International Lifetime Achievement award. He is a regular speaker at IHRSA events, Club Industry conferences.
Dr. Chaet has degrees in education, economics, p h y s i o l o g y, and management from Northeastern University, in Boston, and the University of Southern California, in Los Angles.
